Bonn the former capital of the Federal Republic of Germany and the birthplace of Ludwig van Beethoven are themes that invite you to explore. The city boasts the Friedrich Wilhelm University, which is considered the best in Germany. It is only 20 minutes away from our stopping point, which is located in a parking lot, corner of Joseph-Beuys-All. / Baunscheidstr.. The city is well connected and we can get to any part by bus or metro. If we luckily came to the city in the spring, specifically around April, we can walk along Heerstrasse, which looks like a pink tunnel during this period, thanks to the Japanese cherry trees that bloom on this and surrounding streets. For about 7 days, because this is how long the pink "madness" lasts, the street attracts a lot of tourists and locals who want to take beautiful pictures. From here it is worth to take a walk along Poppelsdorfer Allee, which is full of historic buildings and wonderful plants, and leads to Poppelsdorf Castle, which delights with its architecture, but also hides a mineral museum and the world's oldest botanical garden. While in Bonn you must visit the house where the most famous citizen of the city Ludwig van Beethoven was born. The house is located at Bonngasse 20 and is open 7 days a week. Bonn has much more to offer and certainly one day in the city is not enough.
