Visit the city of Khmelnytskyi by Sindbad bus.
Chmelnytskyi is a city of nearly 300 thousand people located in the western part of Ukraine on the Boh River. For many tourists and history buffs, the city may be better known by the name Proskurivskyi, as this was its name until 1954. The current name comes from the name of the famous Ukrainian leader Bohdan Khmelnytsky and was given on the 300th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Pereyaslav between the Cossacks and Moscow. The city is recognized as a center of widely developed trade, as one of the largest markets in Europe functions there - Khmelnytsky market. The market is famous for its large size and low prices, which lure many buyers. While in town, be sure to see the oldest building in the city, which is the Orthodox Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, or the TV Tower, which measures 208 meters in height. Visiting the city we also recommend a short walk towards the Catholic Church of Christ the King and the monument to John Paul II. Christ the King Catholic Church and the monument to John Paul II. To this day, Chmielnicki also has the oldest central water supply system, which was established in 1910. Getting around the city is made easier by a well-developed trolleybus network, the longest route being nearly 28 kilometers long. Not everyone probably knows, but the famous hypnotist Anatoly Kashpirovsky, who became famous for his supernatural abilities and not only in Ukraine, also comes from Khmelnitsky.
