Czestochowa - is located in the northern part of the Silesian province, in the picturesque limestone hill range of the Krakow-Czestochowa Jurassic Upland. Undoubtedly, the main purpose of visiting Czestochowa is to visit the Pauline Sanctuary and Monastery of Jasna Gora. The origins of the Jasna Gora Monastery date back to the 14th century; the Pauline Order has always been the host here, having received the parish church of the Blessed Virgin Mary from Prince Wladyslaw Opolczyk. The entire architectural ensemble was built over more than five centuries, now forming an extremely valuable and compact monastery complex. Its most important site is the Chapel of Our Lady of Czestochowa, famous for its many miracles, seen in its baroque ebony altar. In addition, you can visit: Jasna Gora Tower, Arsenal, Treasury, St. Roch Bastion, Knights' Hall, Jasna Gora Golgotha, Museum of the 600th Anniversary of Jasna Gora.
Church of St. Barbara and St.. St. Andrew's Church in Czestochowa - built in the first half of the 17th century, the church stands near Jasna Gora; it was built for the novitiate of the Jasna Gora Monastery, near the miraculous spring where, according to legend, the profaned image of Our Lady of Czestochowa, stolen from Jasna Gora in the 15th century, was washed.
Museum of Matches in Częstochowa, 68 Ogrodowa St. - The Museum of Matchmaking is unique in Europe, nowhere else on the continent will you see a working historic technological line from the 1930s, combined with factory buildings from the 19th century. The museum is located on the site of a working plant, established in 1882, so visiting it is a kind of time travel. The main attraction of the museum is the working antique machinery, but also learning about the interesting process of making matches. The Museum of Matches in Czestochowa is located on the Route of Monuments of Technology.
Zlota Gora Miniature Park in Czestochowa, Zlota St. - an interesting, unusual amusement park, where you can primarily see miniatures of religious buildings from around the world, such as: Basilica of Fatima, Basilica of Lourdes, Basilica of the Lateran, Church of Medjugorje, Basilica of Bethlehem and many others. For the youngest there is a playground with trampolines, inflatables and a ball pool. In addition, the park has an Autodrome, a Game Room and a Rope Park. Since 2013, a record-breaking statue of the Pope has stood here.
Parks Podjasnogórskie in Częstochowa - on the eastern slope of Jasna Góra, by the Avenue of the Blessed Virgin Mary, attractive parks have been created - Stanislaw Staszic Park with the Homestead and the 3rd of May Park with tennis courts and chess.
