Visit Delmenhorst with Sinbad!

Delmenhorst is a town in Lower Saxony, just outside Bremen. The two cities are only 15km apart. Delmenhorst is a medium-sized town with a population of about 75,000.

Mostly recommended is to visit the textile industry museum called " Nordwolle". "Nordwolle" was the dominant wool processing company. It is important to mention  the beginnings of this factory dating back to 1884. The factory had developed  into a global textile company by the 1920s. Unfortunately, the crisis of the 1930s slowed down its growth, the factory itself struggled, and eventually the decision was made to close in 1981. The museum boasts many exhibits, textile machinery still in operation today. It is a major attraction of the city highly rated by visitors.

The bus stop is located at ZOB, Westerstr. from where it is only 650 meters to the said museum. The walk takes less than 10 minutes, the massive red brick building is visible from afar.
