Dnepr - tourist attractions and sights of the city. What is worth seeing?

Dnepr is undoubtedly a large and significant city on the map of Ukraine. Dnipro is located in the southeastern part of Ukraine. The city has a population of about one million, and is the fourth  by population in Ukraine. 

Dnepr is one of the main industrial and administrative centers of Ukraine. The city is home to a number of industries, including metallurgical, mining, engineering or chemical.  Of particular note is the fact that "Yuzhmash"-which is Ukraine's largest rocket and space industry enterprise-operates in Dnipro.  The company is a manufacturer of launchers, ballistic missiles, space shuttles or rocket engines. Due to its specific production during the Soviet era, Dnipro had the status of a closed city. Alreadymash  in its best years it employed as many as 40,000 workers, today when orders have decreased (mainly from the Russian side) Alreadymash employs about 7,000 workers. The number of employees, although much lower, is still significant. 

While in Dnipro, we recommend taking a stroll along the banks of the Dnipro River, you can also go to Monastery Island. Park, interesting beaches, these places are worth seeing after a bus trip.

A highly rated attraction is the Museum of the History of the Jewish People. The large building and the number of attractions inside make the museum highly rated by visitors. 

We also recommend going to the Museum of History of Dnipropetrovsk. Inside, in the spacious halls you will find many exhibits documenting the history of the city and the region.
