Grybów is a town in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship, in the County of Nowy Sącz, among the Grybowskie Mountains, on the Biała River. The landscape will undoubtedly enchant many a tourist.
The town boasts such attractions as the Stara Baśń castle, which is available for guided tours, the neo-Gothic Minor Basilica or the 20th century synagogue. Many attractions can also be found in the towns that border Grybow. For example, in winter you can go to the nearby ski slopes.
The town developed most at the turn of the 16th and 17th centuries thanks to its advantageous location and numerous royal privileges. The local area was visited by Wincenty Witos, Kazimierz Pułaski, Józef Piłsudski and Stanisław Wyspiański, among others.
