Kempten - a former city of the Roman Empire

Kempten p is located in Bavaria in the Swabian region and is home to over 60.000 inhabitants. The city is famous for its well-developed dairy industry.  Kempten is the oldest city in Germany , preserved archaeological monuments here date the city to 15 BC , and archaeological excavations conducted here have confirmed the existence of the Roman city of Cambodum. 

The archaeological museum here is worth a visit, as it has amassed a wealth of evidence of Roman towns. Be sure to visit the baroque Benedictine monastery and the local museum Kempten which shows the history of the city from ancient times to the present. From the Sindbad stop where our bus stops, which is located at Busbf. / Hbf, Banhofplatz 2  the major attractions will be reached on foot.
