Kosów this townin Ukraine, in Ivano-Frankivsk region, lying on the Rybnica River. It was mentioned in 1424 as the property of Duke Świdrygiełło. It received city rights in 1654.
In the years 1891-1939, with interruptions, there was a natural healing institution in Kosovo run by Dr. Apolini Tarnawski, a pioneer and promoter of natural medicine, who became famous for using unconventional methods of treatment and a unique intellectual and artistic atmosphere. This made Kosiv, in the first half of the 20th century, the second capital of Polish Bohemia after Zakopane. In 1911, one of the first troops of the Polish Scouting and Guiding Association (ZHP) was formed by Kazimierz Lutosławski and Olga Drahonowska.

Huculszczyzna National Park is a park located on the eastern side of the Carpathians, on both high ranges with an altitude of up to 1,472 meters (4,829 ft) on Mt. Gregit, the highest point in the park, and the lower foothills with an absolute altitude of 350-500 meters (1,150-1640 ft) above sea level. The mountain ridges run parallel from the northwest to the southeast, with relatively flat peaks, steep slopes, and wide pools in between. Hutsul National Park was established on May 14, 2002 and covers an area of 32,248 ha.Administratively it is located in Ivano-Frankivsk region.
Another place worth visiting is the Kornelyuk Museum. It is located in the courtyard of the Kornelyuk estate, and its interior is filled with a unique exhibition of Hutsul art. On display is a collection of national Hutsul hats, embroidered towels, handmade ceramics, household goods, bags, tools, etc. Each of these items is uniquely crafted and handmade. Today the museum collection includes over 5000 items, each of which comes from the Kornelyuk family.
