Kryvy Rih is an important center of mining and metallurgical industry and is the heart of the so-called Krzyworoskiy Basin. According to the official website of the city council, the city is 126 kilometers long and is one of the longest cities in Europe. There is a unique high-speed streetcar that connects distant parts of the city and is considered by locals to be the metro. Despite the industrial atmosphere of the city, the tourist potential of this image has been recognized and three attractions have been opened in the city which are impossible not to visit. The first is the world's lowest tourist route, 1556 meters below ground level. The tour is located in an active iron ore mine, and the descent requires you to measure your blood pressure and wear special clothing including underwear, a helmet, and a mask in case of gas leakage. The second attraction is a tour of an active metallurgical factory, where we can see the entire technological process of producing pipes and other elements. The last attraction is the Fanatic Brewing Center, which is the largest brewing center in Ukraine. Here you can find everything related to kraft beer making and taste everything that is produced here. A full day tour with visits to all these attractions costs about 50 PLN. Crooked Horn is a city where you will get to know Ukraine from a completely different perspective.
