Milan - a city and municipality in the northwestern part of Italy. Milan is the capital of the Lombardy region. Considering the number of inhabitants whose number exceeds 1.3 million, it is the second city in Italy. The first city in Italy in terms of population is Rome.
Milan-is an important university center, but also an important center of Italian industry. It is here that the largest industrial district is located. It is here that some Italian cars are produced, as well as cheese or wine. Milan is considered a very rich city, is it only industry that influences this? Of course not, as Milan is a very important tourist destination, it is the most visited city in Italy after Rome and Venice. It is also the most important city in terms of fashion for Italians, one of the most important in the world next to New York or Paris.
But let's get back to the tourist attractions of Milan, which we will try to introduce you to. We will only introduce you to three main attractions, in our opinion, are places you should undoubtedly go to. The first place is Milan Cathedral- beautiful, magnificent and majestic. It is one of the most beautiful cathedrals in general, one of the most important buildings in Italy. Extremely highly rated by visitors, it is recommended to see the outside and inside including viewing the city skyline from the cathedral's roof. With good visibility you can also see the Alps. The Sindbad bus stop is located in Milan at Terminal Bus Milano - Lampugnano, to the cathedral is a distance of 6.5km, you will walk in just over an hour or get there by public transport in a dozen minutes.
Another thing worth seeing is Leonardo Da Vinci's painting "The Last Supper" Probably many of you are familiar with this famous painting, which you can see in the refectory of the Dominican monastery at the Basilica of Sana Maria delle Grazie. From the Sindbad bus stop you can reach it on foot in an hour , the two places are separated by a distance of 5km.
The third attraction we want to introduce you to is the famous La Scalla theater. This is where cultural events are held, it is perhaps the most famous, if not the most important theater in the world. It is here that the famous opera house is located. From the Sindbad bus stop you will get there on foot in a little over an hour, taking public transportation will take you several minutes. From the Milan bus stop, the distance to the theater is 6.5km.
