Myslenice is a beautiful, historic town located in the Lesser Poland province, not far from Krakow, on the Raba River. 

Myslenice - tourist attractions and sights of the town. What to see?

Through Myslenice runs the famous Zakopianka - the route leading from Krakow to Zakopane. Although the town is located among relatively small hills, there is no shortage of attractions typical of mountain towns.

Attractions in Myslenice:

Góra Chełm (654 m above sea level.) in Myślenice - in the tourist district Zarabie (behind the Raba River) rises Góra Chełm, at the top of which there is a viewpoint, moreover there are ski lifts and a tourist 1-person chairlift, on the top there is a view tower;

Myslenice Adventure Park - this park is also located in the Zarabie district, it offers numerous sporting and non-sporting attractions, outdoor events are also held here;

Myslenice Market Square - the most important point of the city, laid out in the 15th century. In the 18th century brick houses began to be erected here, the oldest of which is the Oboński Tenement House (Rynek 27). On the market square in Myślenice you can see a well which is a fountain;

Dobczyckie Lake - a picturesque artificial reservoir spilling between Myślenice and Dobczyce, created by building a dam on the Elbe River. 

Sights in Myslenice

- Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary - a Gothic temple standing near the Market Square, built in the 15th century.

- The Greek House in Myslenice - an interesting brick building from the end of the 17th century, formerly an inn often visited by Armenians (hence the name), now a Regional Museum;

- The Castle in Myslenice - an attraction for the most ardent lovers of monuments, because not much remains of the castle; the fortress rose on the slopes of Uklein Mountain - and not much more is known about it. It is believed to have operated in the 13th and 14th centuries, but was abandoned and/or destroyed in unexplained circumstances before the 16th century.
