Nowogard - a town in West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Goleniów County. It is a small town with a population of about 16,500. The biggest attraction of this town is primarily Lake Nowogardzkie. It takes less than 5 minutes to walk from the bus stop located at the ORLEN station at 27 3-go Maja Street to the Lake. It is an ideal place to relax and spend some quiet time. The reservoir itself has an area of 112 hectares.  The parish church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary is also worth a visit. It is a brick building made in the Gothic style, built in several stages was built from the 14th century to the end of the 15th century. In 2005 there was a fire there as a result of which the church tower and the historic organ were burned. Fortunately, the interior after the fire was repaired and a new organ was inserted.
