Ostrów Wielkopolski - a city on the Ostrów River.
Ostrów Wielkopolski's market square is one of the most visited places, hosting outdoor events, concerts and other social events. It is decorated with the Town Hall and numerous renovated houses, and it is also full of restaurants where you can have a delicious meal and spend a nice time.
In the very center of the city is located the Municipal Park, which was created between 1942 and 1943. There are numerous walking and cycling paths and a pond with fountains, as well as the first brine graduation tower in the region of southern Wielkopolska. In the park there is also the Municipal Amphitheatre.
We recommend to see also St. Stanislaus the Bishop and Martyr Cathedral built between 1905-1907, the post office building from 1886, Bank Square, the Old Cemetery from 1784. - one of the oldest active cemeteries in Poland, the city hall and the monument to Cardinal Mieczyslaw Halka. There is also a 3D Museum, where you can feel the atmosphere of the past and walk the streets of old Ostrów Wielkopolski, numerous bicycle paths, ice rink and roller skating rink - we are sure that each of you will find many attractions for themselves!
