Podgaje is a village located in the Greater Poland (Wielkopolska) Province, occupying the valley of the River Gwda, on which a dam has been built to form an artificial lake. West of the village, on a chain of unforested hills reaching 150 m above sea level, there is a complex of fortifications forming a protective belt of the Pomeranian Wall, over which a battle was fought in 1945.
While visiting Podgaje it is worth seeing the Monument of Wartime Barbarism built in 1969, It is also worth visiting the Monument to the War Barbarism, built in 1969, commemorating the victims of the crime, and go to a camping site on the Gwda River, less than 4 kilometers from the village, where you can relax in nature.
