Visit by Sindbad bus the city Sarpsborg!
The small town of 50,000 located in southeastern Norway is a true historical gem. It was founded as Borg in 1016 by Viking King Olav Haraldsson and has been transformed over the years to reach a population of 50,000 in 2005. Getting off at our stop located at the Quality Hotel Gralum, we can take the bus to get to the center. There are historical traces of human activity all over the place, but it is best to start at the small open-air museum Borgarsyssel Museum and then head to Festningenble, which is a fortress also known as Sarpsborg Fortress. One of the most beautiful and well-preserved mansions in Norway is the Hafslund Manor located here. In the city you can also see the home of the great traveler Roald Amundsen beautifully situated on the Gloma River. For those who want even more history, there are more than 200 cave drawings of primitive peoples to be found here, and the Norwegian climate and culture are conducive to communing with nature, and there are plenty of cycling and hiking trails.
