Visit by Sinbad bus the city of Schwenningen!
In Schwenningen, once the largest clock city in the world, time has not stopped. Here we can encounter the harmonious presence of tradition and modernity. Here a magnificent Wilhelminian-style villa, there a modern building, such contrasts can sometimes surprise you. Getting off at our stop located at Bf, Erzbergerstr, we find ourselves right at the beginning of the Neckar River. The river begins its course in the beautiful surroundings of the Möglingshöhe city park and continues to delight visitors, and this is the beginning of a route of more than 360 kilometers, all the way to the Rhine. Muslenplatz is a vibrant city center and a popular meeting place. The square takes its name from the small river Muslen, which flows into the Dolen, where the core of the Schwenningen settlement was once located. Today, the square is home to a local history and clock museum. Every Saturday, and in the summer also on Wednesdays, the largest market in the region takes place here, where you can find everything from souvenirs to everyday items. The places you should definitely visit are the onion church from the 12th century and the meticulously restored town hall. Additionally, there are plenty of great hiking and biking trails in the area, as well as a dirt cross trail that takes you past 20 dirt crosses. The township is a great place to relax and recharge your batteries.
