Anyone with a cursory understanding of our country's geography knows that these are fantastic regions in terms of nature. And it is the natural qualities that are the main attribute of Sepolno Krajenskie attracting the attention of visitors of all ages. Suffice it to say that there are as many as four nature reserves within the rural-urban municipality of the same name.
Also within the municipality's borders runs the Krajeński Landscape Park, established in 1998. Krajeński Landscape Park, one of the largest parks of its kind in Poland in terms of area. The high percentage of forested land makes Sepolno Krajenskie and its surroundings a capital place for relaxing in nature, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, rush and smog. It is also a dream destination for lovers of forest walks, bicycle rallies, jogging or mushroom picking in season. If we add to this the presence of water facilities - primarily Sepolenski Lake, Lutovski Lake, Niechorz Lake and the small Sepolenka River - and the possibility of water sports and fishing, we have a recipe for a complete summer resort.
Sepolno Krajenskie is not only about natural attractions and impressive hiking trails, but also about several interesting monuments and a quite well-developed accommodation base. Let's stop for a moment at the former. Tourists visiting the city should go to the beach with a promenade and a pier located outside the center, on Lake Sepolenski. This is an excellent place for walks, photo sessions and safe water bathing.
Tourists who enjoy the waterfront should also drop by the pier (closer to the city center), where you can enjoy a nice cup of coffee and a sweet treat. A local amphitheater is also located here. It's worth remembering that Sepolno Krajenskie was granted city rights as early as 1360, and although it never had any important functions in past centuries, even on a regional scale, a stroll through the town can be made more pleasant by seeing several monuments. One of the most important is the parish church of St. Bartholomew the Apostle, dating back to the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries. Of note is the triangular old market square, one of the few of its kind in Poland. Local residents refer tourists to the historic road bridge over the Sepolanka River and to the Monument to Struggle and Martyrdom at Freedom Square.
