Ternopil - tourist attractions and sights of the city. What is worth seeing?

Ternopil - a large city in the western part of Ukraine. With a population of about 220,000, the city is the administrative seat of the Ternopil region. The city is a significant cultural, industrial, as well as educational center. 

After a bus trip, we recommend taking a walk to the Ternopil Lake. This large body of water in the center of the city is surrounded by a park, and is a popular place for hiking and walking. There is a boardwalk, a marina, and it is a popular place to visit regardless of the seasons. The water reservoir is very large and has become a permanent part of the city's skyline.

Another attraction in Ternopil is Theater Square. Nearby is the Ternopil theater, the square is an ideal place to relax in the center while walking.  In close proximity are restaurants, bars, sometimes concerts are held here. 

A short distance away is also the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary. This magnificent building with green domes is frequented by visitors, the building is in the center and  has become a permanent part of the city's skyline. A large church, it is beautifully decorated inside, we recommend to see for yourself.
