Most of the city's attractions center around Lake Constance. It features an extensive promenade with numerous restaurants and cafes. A major attraction in Bregenz is the Pfänderbahn cable car, which connects the city to the nearby Pfänder summit, from where impressive views of the near and far countryside can be enjoyed.

Bregenz - getting there

The city is well connected. Bregenz can be reached by train. The main train and bus stations are located in the city center, right next to the amphitheater and the stage on the water. The nearest airports are in Swiss Thal (St. Gallen-Altenrhein) and in German Friedrichshafen, but they do not operate direct flights from Poland. It's better to consider coming by coach or going here by your own means of transportation.
