BAUSKA

Bauska is a charming town located in the southern part of Latvia, near the border with Lithuania. It lies on the Musa and Mēmele rivers, which merge here to form the Lelupa River. It is an important historical center, known primarily for its picturesque castle ruins and beautiful landscapes.

The city's biggest attraction is Bauska Castle, whose construction began in the 15th century. The fortress belonged to the Order of the Knights of the Sword and served as a defense against invasions.
