Sights and attractions:

Cathedral of the Resurrection - This is one of the city's main churches and is an important religious landmark. The cathedral was built in the classicist style and is one of the most beautiful religious buildings in Sumy.

Dependence Square - This is the central square of the city, surrounded by historic buildings from the 19th and 20th centuries. The square is a popular meeting place for locals and tourists.

Landscape Museum in Sumy - The museum contains exhibits related to the history, culture and nature of the region. Among other things, you can see artifacts related to ancient cultures, as well as exhibits on the history of the city and the region.

Parks - The city has numerous parks and recreational areas that are popular places for residents to relax. The T. G. Shevchenko Park and the "Green Island" park are just some of them.

Art Museum - Sumy also has a contribution to Ukrainian art. The Art Museum has a rich collection of Ukrainian and European art, including paintings and sculptures.

BERN

Berno is located in the central part of Switzerland. It is inhabited by 130,000 people. It is often said that the city is the Swiss capital, which is not quite true. Bern only has the status of a federal city, and Switzerland is a confederation of cantons and has no established capital. However, the authorities administering the country reside in Bern.

The city's symbol and one of its most important monuments is the late Gothic cathedral - the largest church in Bern, as well as in all of Switzerland. Take a stroll through the old town full of historic buildings, visit the Paul Klee center with its exceptionally rich collection of his works, or see the former home of the world's most famous physicist. Bern is the city of Einstein. The Nobel laureate lived and worked here from 1902 to 1914. The building at Kramgasse 49, in the Bernese old town, houses his apartment, where you can now see numerous photos and personal memorabilia of Albert Einstein.

Commuting to Bern

Bern is an important transportation hub, where central authorities, many foreign companies and international organizations are headquartered. From our country, unfortunately, you will not find direct flights to Bern by plane. The best option will be to travel by bus or your own car. Bus to Bern is a much more economical choice, since traveling from Poland, you have to reckon with highway tolls and considerable costs incurred on fuel.
