BREGENZ

Bregenz, or Bregenz in German, is a city in Austria located on Lake Constance and the capital of the state of Vorarlberg. It has a small population of less than 29,000. However, Bregenz's charming location between the lake and the mountains makes it a popular destination for many tourists.

Attractions of Bregenz

Most of the city's attractions center around Lake Constance. It features an extensive promenade with numerous restaurants and cafes. Worth a visit here is the stage located on the water, which in the summer months is the center of the Bregenzer Festspiele, the Bregenzer Festival of the Arts, as well as a stroll through the old part of town, the Oberstadt, which is full of narrow streets. Bregenz - getting there

The city is well connected. Bregenz can be reached by train. The main train and bus stations are located in the city center, right next to the amphitheater and the stage on the water. The nearest airports are in Swiss Thal (St. Gallen-Altenrhein) and in German Friedrichshafen, but they do not operate direct flights from Poland. It's better to consider coming by coach or going here by your own means of transportation.
