Italy has a reputation as one of the most beautiful countries in the entire world, and the number of local monuments, atmospheric towns or breathtaking natural attractions seems endless. They certainly include Verona - that is, the city located in the northern part of the Apennine Peninsula, at the height of Milan and Venice. Verona owes its modern fame primarily to Shakespeare, who placed here the fate of the lovers of his famous drama. However, plots related to Romeo and Juliet are not the only tourist attractions here. In this town you can also admire historical buildings from different eras (including antiquity), taste the specialties of Italian cuisine or finally take refuge from the heat in the climatic, narrow streets of the old town.
