Walbrzych is a city of more than 101,000 people in Lower Silesia Province. It is home to as many as seven city parks and two scenic parks - almost 1/3 of the city is green space. Its location in the central part of the Central Sudety Mountains, in a picturesque basin surrounded by forests, adds to its extraordinary charm and makes the city a great base for excursions into the surrounding mountains.
