It is housed in a modern building that blends harmoniously with its surroundings and provides the perfect backdrop for exhibits dedicated to this pair of accomplished scholars and writers.
A charming place that impresses with its architecture, atmosphere and rich cultural heritage. Hanau's Old Town has its roots in the Middle Ages. As an administrative and commercial center, it initially played a key role in the city's development. The area has undergone numerous changes over the centuries, but many of its historic elements have survived to this day. Although some of the historic buildings were destroyed during World War II, many have been carefully restored, preserving the distinctive architectural and historical style.
