Ancona (Ancona in Italian) is a city in central Italy and the capital of the province of Ancona and the region of Marche. It is situated cascading in the hills above the Adriatic Sea. It is a port city with numerous trasport ships and passenger ferries. The name Ancona comes from the Greek ankon, meaning elbow. It has to do with the city's location on a promontory with a distinctive appearance. In ancient times, Ancona lay on the route of one of the important Roman roads, the via Flaminia, connecting Rome with today's Rimini.

There are several ways to get to Pila. The first is by PKP trains, the second by own transport, the third by PKS Pila and other carriers.
