Ancona the capital and main city of Italy's Marche region lies on the Adriatic coast. Due to its possession of one of Italy's most important ports, the city is of great economic importance. In addition, it is distinguished by its long history and a large number of valuable monuments. Worth seeing here is the beautiful Romanesque-Byzantine Cathedral of St. Cyriacus located on Monte Guasco hill, as well as the city's squares, especially Piazza della Repubblica and Piazza del Plebiscito surrounded by historic palaces. Such a road network makes Walcz quite well connected with other cities in the region and major metropolises in other parts of the country.
