Eindhoven is a city located in the south of the Netherlands on the Dommel River. It is famous as a center of the electronics industry - such global giants as Philips and DAF have their headquarters and production facilities there.
.The most valuable monument in the city is the neo-Gothic St. Catherine's Catholic Church from 1867 with twin towers clearly towering over the area. Eindhoven stands for museums - you can find there, among others, museums related to the strongly rooted industry there. Interactive Philips Museum will delight children, but also adults will not leave indifferent to the puzzles and riddles present there. The DAF museum, on the other hand, will appeal to lovers of automobiles, especially trucks. In addition, in Eindhoven you can visit the contemporary art museum Van Abbemuseum.
.For relaxation, head to the Speelpark de Splinter park abounding with beautiful playgrounds and many activities for the little ones, or the Down Town Gourmet Market, where you can enjoy food from all cuisines of the world, even as exotic as... Icelandic.
.There are many bicycle paths in the city, especially scenic ones along the Dommel River. The strict center of Eindhoven is free of car traffic. So it is worth a small amount to rent a bicycle for the whole day and discover the city from the perspective of two wheels.
.Eindhoven is home to a rail and road hub and an airport serving numerous European flights. Eindhoven Airport is located about 8 kilometers west of the city center and the main train station, from which you can reach major Dutch cities. .Radomsko is a 46,000-strong city in Lodz province located in the Przedborska Highlands on the Radomka River between Lodz and Czestochowa. Due to its long history - Radomsko was granted city rights in 1266, was a royal city of the Crown of the Polish Kingdom and witnessed many historically important events - you can find many monuments and remnants of past centuries there. In particular, the Regional Museum introducing the history of the city and its surroundings, located in the Radomsko City Hall building, is worth a visit. Also noteworthy are the wooden church of St. Mary Magdalene, the Collegiate Church of St. Lambert and the villas and townhouses in the city center. The historic Tartar Homestead and the Museum of Printing of the Kaminski Family are also interesting objects to visit.
The city is located in central Poland by important transportation routes - national and provincial roads. There is a railroad station in Radomsko, from which trains leave for Warsaw, Lodz, Piotrkow Trybunalski, Czestochowa, Krakow or Wroclaw, but also for Gdansk or Szczecin. Since 1846, the city was on the Warsaw-Vienna Railway.
You should know that if you want to visit Radomsko, intercity and international buses arrive at the stop on Kolejowa Street, near the railroad station.
