The town of Kolo is a charming, historic town located in the Greater Poland province, on the Warta River, about 120 km west of Warsaw and 130 km east of Poznan. It is the seat of Koło County.
Sights and attractions:
-King's Castle in Koło - the ruins of a 14th century Gothic fortress, picturesquely located on the Warta River.
-The Town Hall in Koło - a classicist building from the 18th century in the town square.
-The Church of the Elevation of the Holy Cross - a late Gothic church from the 15th century.
The Old Town and Market Square - with a preserved medieval urban layout.
Wheel is surrounded by green areas, and the Warta River is the natural axis of the city. The area offers many places for walking and relaxation, as well as biking and recreational routes.
