Also worth seeing is the Church of St. John the Theologian located in the more than a century-old building of the city gasworks. Its interiors and exterior facade delight with colorful icons. An interesting monument is the neo-Gothic Ilawa Town Hall and the Baroque sculptures located on Niepodległości Street. They depict Roman deities: Juno, Hercules, Jupiter and Medusa.

Of course, the city's biggest attraction is Lake Jeziorak and the associated opportunities for active leisure and recreation.
