Rome is located in central Italy on the Tiber River. In addition to being the state capital, the city is also the capital of the administrative and historical region of Lazio. When visiting the Eternal City for the first time, it is worth seeing its major attractions. We associate Rome primarily with the Colosseum, which is the ancient amphitheater where gladiator fights took place. While there, it is, of course, worth visiting the Vatican, entering St. Peter's Basilica and climbing its dome, from which you can enjoy beautiful views of the city and St. Peter's Square. A place full of the most valuable works of art and historical monuments is the Vatican Museums. In addition, enjoy a good Italian espresso near Piazza Navona, take a photo at the Spanish Steps and at the Trevi Fountain.

Commuting to Rome

Rome is worth a trip at least once in a lifetime. Getting there should not be a problem, as the city is well connected. Its Fiumicino airport is one of the largest in Europe, and its network of highways and high-speed trains is very extensive. Our coaches stop near the Roma Tiburtina bus station. If you are planning a trip of a little more than one-two days to get to know Rome better, buses will be a good, inexpensive and environmentally friendly way to get to this beautiful city.
