Skole (ukr. Сколе) is located in western Ukraine, lying in the Lviv region. It is a small town, located in the picturesque valley of the Stryi River, surrounded by mountains. Skole is primarily known for its beautiful landscapes, making it a popular tourist destination, especially for those interested in mountain hiking and nature.
The town has a rich history, dating back to the Middle Ages, and is one of the most important centers in this part of Ukraine. Skole was known as a center of crafts, as well as trade in the region. Today, the town remains small, but is known for its folk traditions, local culture, and typical Ukrainian rural life.
There are also many tourist attractions in the Skole area, such as mountain trails, including parts of the Carpathian Mountains, and historical sites, which attract tourists seeking both peace and quiet and active outdoor recreation.
Battipaglia is actually a small town of fifty thousand people on the eastern coast of the Apennine peninsula. Battipaglia is therefore a good base for exploring nearby Naples or Pompeii. So by staying overnight in Battipaglia you will be able to save money while climbing Mount Vesuvius, one of the most dangerous volcanoes in the world. You'll also be able to visit the nearby Monti Picentini park.
Going north you'll reach Pompeii and the village of Torre del Greco, where you'll find archaeological sites centered around ancient cities destroyed by the nearby volcano.
To get to Bus from or to Battipaglia you'll need to book a ticket from one of the Polish cities. Our buses go there from virtually every Polish city we serve.
Also, check out why it's worth taking a bus to Battipaglia and what the town has to offer. It may not be a typically touristy city, but it can prove to be a great choice for a weekend, a week, or maybe a whole two-week vacation.
