The most valuable monument in the city is the neo-Gothic St. Catherine's Catholic Church from 1867 with twin towers clearly towering over the area. There are many bicycle paths in the city, especially scenic ones along the Dommel River. The strict center of Eindhoven is free of car traffic. So it is worth a small amount to rent a bicycle for the whole day and discover the city from the perspective of two wheels.
